Our program is designed to teach children kindergarten through 7th grade the basic fundamentals of cheerleading in a positive, energetic, and fun environment.  You can expect your child to learn cheers, chants, and simple stunting skills during practices.  The squads will show their learned skills by supporting Sharon Springs Football teams at Saturday games.  The cheerleaders will also learn a short routine including dance, cheer, tumble, stunt, and jumps during the season to perform at the end of season Showcase or Cheer Bowl. No experience is required for any grade level.

Time Commitment

Practices are held 2 days a week for up to 2 hrs per practice.  Practice schedules are determined by our volunteer coaches.  Football games are held on Saturdays and last approximately 2 hours.

Season Information/Important Dates (Dates are TENTATIVE)

Mandatory Cheer Fitting: You must attend 1 of the selected dates.

May 7, 6:00-8:00 at Old Atlanta Recreational Center; Community Room

May 14, 6:00-8:00 at Old Atlanta Recreational Center; Community Room

August 3, 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., Mandatory Cheer Clinic; Old Atlanta Recreational Center Gym 1

Program Fees

In addition to park and administrative fees, the investment includes the Uniform, Hair Bow, Practice Apparel, Shoes and Cheer Clinic.

Early Registration: February 1st - March 31st $425

Regular Registration: April 1st - May 31st $475

Late Registration: June $495

Additional contributions, your team mom will collect team dues ($75 per cheerleader) at the start of the season for squad expenses (example: team accessories, Cheer Bowl music, end of season party/gifts for girls, etc.).
